Belief
Farming is a way of life -- it's not easy work, sometimes it's not fun -- but we wouldn't miss it for the world.
Farming has taught us to respect the land and livestock; you need to give to the land and animals if you want to receive from it. We respect/honor life-long commitments to farming and understand what it means to work your entire life to purchase and grow a family farm.
Our operation contains individuals who specialize in different areas of agriculture and believe that these specialties together create a greater opportunity for success. Our operation consists of Bruce and Leasa Lantzky, Roger and Deborah Lantzky, Kyle Kueker, and Chickasaw Farms, LLC.
Our farm consists of 4,480 spaces of swine confinement finishing which produces 10,000 head of finished animals annually, and 1,800 acres of viable farm ground in Chickasaw and Eastern Floyd County that we own, cash rent, or custom farm.
We aim to provide our landlords (and ourselves) the fairest rent per acre and raise the best crops and livestock possible. While maintaining the ground we farm as if it is our own and working to improve it for the next generation.
Mission Statement
To produce top-quality crops and livestock from an expanding land base that will allow both families the opportunity to provide an excellent return on our investment and obtain full-time employment from the farm if desired. We realize that in order to operate at peak efficiency, modern equipment that provides enough capacity to cover acres at a reasonable cost is needed. We operate based on honesty, safety, open communication, well-informed decision making and respect for the land.
To fully utilize a modern line of equipment, we feel that our operation needs to expand to at least 2,500 acres. At this level, we are able to utilize the efficiencies of larger modern equipment.
